Couples seeking a unique and adventurous venue can host weddings, receptions, rehearsal dinners, and more aboard the Black Raven Pirate Ship. Available as either a private charter or a group event during a public show, the ship can accommodate up to 110 guests.

Wedding packages include complimentary admission for the bride and groom, exclusive use of the forecastle deck for the ceremony, full decorative setup, and services by a licensed wedding officiant (Captain). When the couple kisses we like to blast the cannons!

As an add-on, you can have the smaller ship take part in the action. We like to have the “Queen Anne’s Revenge”, capture the bride or capture the groom to really excite the guests.

Both private and group charters offer customizable options such as catering and beverage packages. The ship features indoor and outdoor seating, ample space for dancing, two restrooms, a fully licensed bar, and three decks offering panoramic views.

Private charters allow for complete customization of the route and onboard entertainment—ranging from family-friendly pirate shows and adults-only performances to scenic cruises with live or pre-recorded music.

Pirate Wedding and Sunset Cruise

The ultimate Saint Augustine Adventure! Pirates, sunset views, dolphins, first dance, the perfectly planned out pirate wedding ceremony. I can’t say enough about how the captain personally took care of every last detail for our wedding. It was a fantastic time. We made many new friends. This was truly a day we will never forget! This crew makes you feel like family. They go above and beyond! Even with multiple unforeseen circumstances they made sure everything ended perfectly.

A Grand Pirate Wedding Anniversary!

I married my husband on the Black Raven Pirate Ship, one year ago! We fell in love with the idea, and dressed for the occasion in full authentic pirate regalia. We are enamored by St. Augustine’s historical significance and eclectic culture, and we plan to return every year to celebrate in style. Our wedding was beautiful, (our heartfelt thanks go to the awesome crew), and we keep the length of rope we used to “tie the knot” in a beautiful shadowbox display in our home! We always enjoy participating in the adventure onboard; we sing along with the crew, and we take great pleasure in the lovely ride down the Matanzas River. You can sit in the upper deck and enjoy full view of the river, (don’t forget the sunscreen), or enjoy the trip from the lower cabin with the “pirate wenches” and a full cash bar available. We have come to think of the hardworking crew and owners like family, and we are so proud of their recent participation in the January 19, 2011, Disney Dream Christening Ceremony. We have eaten in true pirate fashion on the Seafood Dinner Cruise (a delicious Low Country Boil piled high for digging in), enjoyed the day (family) and evening (adult) cruises. The evening cruise we attended was also an Adult Birthday Cruise, with plenty of libation, camp humor, and antics. All of the amenities aboard the Black Raven are a wonderful value for the youthful and adventurous, alike!

The best way to end our spectacular wedding weekend!

We celebrated my daughter’s post wedding celebration with our out of town guests and family! Had the most wonderful experience sailing during sunset with the full pirate themed show! The food selection was over the top wonderful. Sampled the most original charcuterie board with added pizza, sandwiches and hors d’oeuvres! Highly recommend this adventure, it was the best way to end our spectacular wedding weekend!
