The Black Raven Pirate Ship is docked at the St. Augustine Municipal Marina located directly south of the Bridge of Lions on the bayfront of historic downtown St. Augustine. All passengers sailing with us MUST check-in with us inside the Black Raven Ship Store no later than 30-60 minutes prior to sailing time to pick up an individually numbered boarding pass before proceeding to the ship. You will NOT be allowed to board without these passes.
The Black Raven Ship Store is located inside the marina building. We carry all the essentials including water, drinks, and snacks, pirate and St. Augustine themed souvenirs, toiletries, OTC medicines, and sunscreen. For boaters staying with us at the marina and visitors returning to their hotel rooms after a long day, we also carry wine and beer.
Where to Park
Many have missed the departure of the ship because they can’t find parking. Do not be one of them! The marina does NOT have a parking lot and parking in St. Augustine is extremely limited and difficult to find during peak tourist season. Plan accordingly and allow yourself at least 45-60 minutes to find a spot. There is NO REFUND if you miss the ship due to parking issues. Large groups or those with mobility issues may choose to get dropped off in front of the marina while the designated driver finds parking.
Please DO NOT call us during check-in time to ask for directions. We will be busy at the counter checking people in and will not have time to answer the phone.
Metered Street Parking – $2.50/hr, Free after 5PM, on Sundays and holidays, and every day with a valid handicapped permit:
Metered street parking is available on Avenida Menendez, King St., Cathedral Pl, Charlotte St., the Castillo de San Marcos fort, and behind the Lightner Museum at Cordova St. and Granada St.
Historic Downtown Parking Facility – $15/day:
This is a public parking garage located on West Castillo Dr. across from the Ripley’s Believe It or Not museum. It is a 10-15 min walk from the garage to the marina building. Parking may be limited on holiday weekends.
Trinity Parish Church Parking – Price may vary:
The Trinity Parish Church offers paid parking to visitors. This parking lot is located at 5 Artillery Ln next to the Trinity Episcopal Church and Learning Center and can be accessed by turning at the church at the corner of King St. and St. George St. Only 2 blocks away from the marina.
Free Street Parking:
Free street parking is available across the Bridge of Lions. It is a 10-15 minute walk over the bridge to the marina. Be aware that the bridge opens every 30 minutes and takes approx. 10 minutes to go back down.
Limited free parking is also available on Marine St. by the National Guard Headquarters.
